Rashid is an IT leader with a strong passion for delivering greater business value by employing quality-driven processes, right technologies and collaborative teams. He has worked at various leading multinational organizations- Credit Lyonnais, Siemens, Fujitsu, FedEx– and currently at J&J where he holds a regional leadership role in Data & Analytics organization. An experienced public speaker and has spoken at various technology and management conferences. His areas of interest include Big Data, Machine/Deep Learning, IT Strategy, Program/Project Management, Digital Services and Career/Talent Development.

Rashid holds an MBA from University of Birmingham, MS (Computing) from National University of Singapore and Bachelors in Computer Systems Engineering from N.E.D University of Engg. & Tech, Karachi. He is a certified PMP, ITIL Foundation, PRINCE2 Foundation, COMIT(Associate), P3O Registered Practitioner, Certified Scrum Master and also a Dale Carnegie Graduate.

Rashid has served at various honorary board  positions at Project Management Institute Singapore (SPMI), Vice President of itSMF Singapore Chapter, Mentor at NUSS-NUS Mentorship Programme and the Alumni Ambassador of University of Birmingham in Singapore. He was also associated with Newcastle University (UK)-Singapore Institute of Technology as an adjunct lecturer.
